Pooya Memarzadeh (aka Dynatonic) was born in Tehran, Iran. He began his musical career playing the traditional Iranian instrument, the “se tar” at the age of 8, which he later replaced with the electric guitar. He then pursued music further by attending schools such as the Tehran Conservatory of Music, the International College of Music, and graduating from the School of Sound Engineering (SAE) in Dubai. Dynatonic has remixed and produced music for many famous Iranian artists such as Behzad Lito, Alireza Jiji, Sijal, Amir Tatalo, Sami Beigi, Rezaya, Reza Bahram, Farzad Farrokh, Makan Band, and others. He has also appeared as the lead guitarist and DJ in many of their concerts. He now continues as a DJ and producer, as well as the producer of his own DJ show called “Dynatonics” on the largest Iranian music platform, “Radio Javan”. He has also released works on international record labels.
